Ode to the Pansy

Carry the flower garden with you.

A silk scarf created from original, hand-painted pansies grown at Alderbrook.

From seed to silk

Ode to the Pansy began with pansies I grew from seed at Alderbrook. Their colors, markings, and almost expressive little faces became a series of individual hand-painted studies.

One by one, the blooms were gathered into a larger composition — a flower garden translated into silk.

The garden, gathered

Each painted pansy keeps something of the flower that inspired it — its color, character, and wonderfully individual face.

Together, they create a garden of their own: lush, abundant, and always in bloom.

Made to be worn

Ode was designed to be lived in, not simply looked at. Folded, draped, and tied, the garden changes with the way it’s worn, revealing different flowers and details each time.

A small piece of that flower-filled world to keep close, wherever you go.

The scarf shown here is a development prototype. Final silk, color, finishing, and production details may vary slightly.
