Hello Subscriber First Name, I hope you’re enjoying all that September brings. I’m happy to report that this time of year has brought to me an abundance of blossoms from my first year Dahlia garden. Each flower is a stunning model worthy of life painting. The pressure is on to capture their beauty, as their vase life is short and their forms literally change by the hour. A break for lunch or an overnight rest, presents a different (sometimes dramatically so) blossom. There is nothing like the process and magic of life painting, which allows for intense study of the structure of the object: in this case, the Dahlia.
