Hello Subscriber First Name,

World-building is one of my favorite things to do, so I’m excited to share with you a special new project: The Enchanted Orangery™. The concept is a spinoff of a gardening dream of mine to have a full-fledged greenhouse one day. This post on IG offers a glimpse of the dream from my summer-time gardening journal. As I build this world with hand-painted botanicals and fanciful, delightful things, I’ll be sharing bits of it in future newsletters. I hope you find it as enchanting as I do. 

The story of this special greenhouse is taking life and there is no telling where it will end up. If I were to design the book cover today this is what it would look like. 

With the holidays soon approaching, you can be sure that I’ll be decking out this indoor garden with Christmas cheer, and thanks to its light and warmth, sweet and juicy fruits will be enjoyed. Of course, the resident partridge is keen on sitting in the pear tree. 

There will be no shortage of festive botanicals adorning this light-filled sanctuary: for starters there is Mistletoe et al. with a color palette reminiscent of chocolate-covered cherries, pear marmalade and Chantilly cream. 

Every passion project starts with a dream

and perhaps a sketch …
