Hello Subscriber First Name, Through the busyness of this month, I hope you’re finding moments to relish the colors and textures of October. The mixed story of this transitional time of year, offers both warm and cool, as well as changes and new beginnings. It certainly has influenced color choices and the visual stories developing in my studio. STORY 1Bits of summer remain, and the Dahlias are still going strong. Despite a slow start this season, the light-colored varieties of white, ivory and beige have come into their own and offer contrast and a welcome neutral to the bouquets that currently crowd the studio. As I glance past the bouquets on my drawing table to the outside world, I see that for the moment, the weather favors the grass, as it appears especially lush and green.
